This beautiful camp is based on a 20 000 acre hunting concession in the Kalahari. We also have access to hunt a few more areas between 10 000 - 60 000 acres. In this region there is a variety of wildlife to be hunted. The Kalahari Desert is a large semi-arid sandy savanna in Southern Africa extending for 900,000 square kilometers (350,000 sq mi), covering much of Botswana, parts of Namibia and regions of South Africa.
The Kalahari is best hunted during the autumn, winter and spring months from May to the end of September. The summer months are extremely hot. Winter mornings and nights can be cold, as is the case in most semi-desert areas, so remember to pack warm clothes if you will be hunting in the Kalahari during the months of June, July and August.
When hunting in the Kalahari there is an option to fly from OR Tambo international airport to Sishen airport which is in a small town called Kathu. From Sishen airport to the hunting area is a two-hour drive. Only South-African airways allow you to travel with firearms on domestic flights. The drive from O.R Tambo international airport to the hunting area is 8 hours.
